what can I do to change antique brass cabinet knobs to look like the newest styles of the black/brown rodiron

l have a large amount of cabinets in my kitchen and would like to change my 
Hero
handles without having to buy all new knobs. l would like to do something

and would like to change these to go with my black granite and corian 
countertops...need to modernize the 17 yr old oak cabinets with some new

get sandpaper an sand the knobs first, then get a metal primer  
sugar lips
an spray each one, then paint your knobs that is it have fun

They have many decorative finishes in spray paints that you can  
kar-bear / jackie
use (patina, rust, etc). I did a decorative finish with the brass knobs in
